Ahmad Aghaei Pistachios

This pistachio type has a relatively large and almond-shaped appearance, and the whitest shell color among the different species of pistachios. Due to its high fertility and short time required to bear fruit, it is popular among farmers and is known as the newest commercial pistachio in Iran. Its most important cultivation areas are Kerman and Khorasan provinces. The main export markets for this type of pistachios are Greece, India and Arab countries.
